Madman has managed the national theatrical distribution of numerous anime features in 2004, including the Studio Ghibli film retrospectives. Madman Films has a strong theatrical distribution focus and in 2004 managed the cinematic release of 20 films with a similar sized slate rolling out in 2005. Madman represents all rights for many of its films, from theatrical to home video, TV, VOD and other rights. In addition, a number of independent Australian theatrical distributors sublicense films to Madman to service the home video market on their behalf.
