Synopsis

Based on a comic by anime grandmaster Osamu Tezuka (ASTROBOY) comes a world of demons and samurai. A powerful samurai, Daigo Kagemitsu, makes a deal with 48 demons who offer him the power to win all future battles and become the lord protector of Japan. In return Daigo Kagemitsu must allow the demons to take away 48 body parts of his future unborn son. Daigo Kagemitsu accepts the demons offer.

The boy eventually is born but without 48 body parts and left abandoned. With luck he is found by a magician who creates prosthetic body parts for him and raises him. Years pass and the boy, now called “Hyakkimaru”, embarks on an epic journey to kill all 48 demons to regain the body parts that are rightfully his.
