The life and loves of a 20th century Casanova!
Good looking, wisecracking house painter Jacko loves women. All women. Young or old, pretty or plain, fat or thin… he just can’t leave them alone. The trouble is, his intentions are often misunderstood, especially by his irascible boss, who will go to any length to keep the saucy painter and decorator away from his female relations and colleagues. All 7 episodes from the second series are collected together for the first time on DVD.
Lesley is still madly in love with Jacko, but her mother, Veronica, has also fallen for his charms. Utterly baffled by his family, Lionel soldiers on at work.
Veronica rows with Lionel and needs a shoulder to cry on; Lesley is still pursuing him, so Jacko turns to Sandra for some solace.
Celia, the runaway nun, needs a place to stay before going on to New Zealand. Jacko finds her proximity in the flat somewhat disconcerting, and becomes a runaway himself.
Lionel loses his most precious possession. Jacko develops his outside interests and meets Linda, who brings a whole new ball-game into his life.
Jacko flies high with Gaynor, a stewardess, while Lionel celebrates the extension of his family and premises. But for Veronica, the part is over.
Sandra’s new boyfriend, Roy Hooper, puts all his cards on the table when Jacko remembers his devious past.
Veronica returns with a proposition for Jacko, which leaves him full of guilt. Lionel wallows in self-pity and unironed shirts while Philip becomes the man his nanny always told him he would be.
