Synopsis
Maggie Baker is an overweight high school senior who knows she’ll never be as pretty, skinny or wealthy as the popular girls. In a cruel prank she is nominated for election as Homecoming Queen. Whilst mortified at first, she decides to go ahead with her campaign and represent all the “outcasts” at school. But when Maggie’s newfound fame goes to her head, the kids who stood by her begin to resent her. Maggie is forced to take a long, hard look at herself and re-evaluate which battles are worth fighting.
