Synopsis

In the hedonistic days of 1930's Kenya, Superintendent Albert Tyburn, a former Scotland yard detective, is sent to Nairobi to set up a new criminal investigation unit. His cases uncover false confessions, blackmail, arson, drug-dealing, slavery & a tangled web of murder, but his investigative methods upset the cliquey Colonial set, leaving him to be quickly shunned by the decadent expatriate community as he digs for the truth.
