Synopsis

Father Frank Dowling is a fine Catholic priest in a Chicago parish, but drives his housekeeper Marie to despair with his habit of being late for dinner as he and his right-hand, streetwise nun Stephanie 'Steve' Oskowski, throw themselves at solving numerous crimes in the neighbourhood, usually involving at least one murder, Father Dowling almost always outsmarts the police and always beats the criminals.
