Synopsis

DRAGONSLAYER draws a definitive portrait of a new generation of kids growing up in the rotting suburbs of inland California by following one of them, a skater named Josh Sandoval, over the course of a typically turbulent year.

Featuring skateboarding, the usual drugs and stray glimpses of unusual beauty, DRAGONSLAYER represents a brand-new style of filmmaking thatʼs immediate, original and alive in every frame. Set to a killer indie rock soundtrack and featuring flip-cam footage shot by the subjects themselves, DRAGONSLAYER is a punk-rock skater manifesto to youth, love, and surviving life in the suburbs after the decline of western civilisation.
