4 friends, 2 couples. Twice as much to lie about in the morning.

Synopsis

"All Over the Guy" explores the unlikely pairing of Eli and Tom, two twenty-somethings thrown together by their best friends Jackie and Brett. While Jackie and Brett are falling in love, Eli and Tom are stumbling away from it...

Eli's parents are trying to get him to talk, while Tom's repressed, alcoholic parents are trying to get him NOT to. Eli's story is narrated to Esther, the salty receptionist at an STD Testing Clinic. Esther's wisdom, which comes from her own 40-year marriage, becomes the ultimate testament to relationships in general. Tom narrates his story to a friend he meets after an AA meeting and learns his own life lessons in the process. After simultaneous wedding day pep-talks from Jackie and Brett, Tom and Eli overcome the dysfunction of their parents, share in the joy of their best friends' romance and surrender to their own hearts.
Ignoring Jackie's advice to stick with Eli, Tom finds himself in a cloud of secrets, loneliness and self hate. Eli, on the other hand, turns to his straight-talking sister, Rayna. Together they strategize about the relationship and ways to detach from their therapist parents Dr. @ Dr Wyckoff.
