Information for customers and clients

In a recent interview on Perth's 91.3fm The immortal Hulk Hogan who has recently signed with TNA Wrestling chatted about his role with the company, and also what he intends to do. Check out some choice quotes from the interview below!

"I'm gonna pick the whole wrestling business up and bodyslam it and whoever's not on my team - on Team Hogan at TNA - they're gonna be at the bottom of the pile. Just like I did in the early 90s, once I went to work for Eric Bischoff and Ted Turner they became the number one wrestling promotion in the world."

"Brother, that goes back to what I'm talking about right now. You have to give the fans what they want and that's what I'm getting ready to do. I'm gonna do the Hulkamania tour and then when I leave here I'm going back to the Unated States and when I work for TNA I'm gonna turn the wrestling business upside-down."

The Hulkamania Tour is currently touring Australia, and TNA Wrestling will also be touring Australia in February / March in 2010.

The Madman Manga Team

A champion is crowned! After months of searching and hours upon hours of frantic costume making we have found our champion.

Christie Lee from NSW took top honours on Saturday as the first grand final event of the Madman National Cosplay Championship was held at The Sebel Hotel, Albert Park. Christie's emotional and brilliant performance as Alice / B-Rabbit from Pandora Hearts moved audiences and wowed the judges all the way to victory.

Before the contest began the director of the Consulate General of Japan in Melbourne - Mr Tsuyoshi Isaka gave a speech to members of the audience wishing all contestants good luck.

The contest was filled with an amazing pool of talent, and things were kicked off starting off with Victoria's Siera as Rue / Princess Kraehe. Using a back lit screen for an excellent transformation sequence, Siera danced and wowed audiences with her performance. She placed 2nd taking home a trophy plus a $500 Madman Entertainment voucher

Second up was Jenita from South Australia, as Laputa Robot from Hayao Miyazaki's Laputa - Castle in the Sky. The extremely tall and large robot was extraordinary to see and also featured some amazingly detailed "battle scars" on the robot. She placed 5th taking home a $200 Madman voucher

Next up was Robyn from Queensland as Kos-Mos from Xenosaga The Animation. Featuring tons of amazing detail that also had light up parts on the costume, and an extra large gattling cannon that also lit up when fired! She placed 4th taking home a $200 Madman voucher

Following Robyn was Min from Western Australia. With an amazingly detailed costume of Suzaku from Code Geass R2. Min's performance also included a costume change into the notorious Zero! She placed 3rd taking home a trophy and $300 Madman voucher.

Finally, Christie's winning performance was staged which you can view below. She will now be heading to Tokyo in 2010 and visit the Tokyo Anime Fair 2010, as well as visit various anime studios and enjoy all the sights and sounds of Japan! Congratulations.

Madman Entertainment would like to thank our sponsors - Supanova Expo for their excellent work as a major event partner over the four preliminary rounds, as well as hosting the Grand Final event. To our media partner TV Hits and all other media outlets for their excellent coverage of the event and bringing cosplay to the masses. Our supporters - AVCON for hosting the Adelaide preliminaries, Japan Foundation, JNTO and Tokyo Metropolitan Government for their generous support. Judges - Sly, K and Aly for their wonderful and tireless efforts in choosing the first national champion.

Finally we wish to thank all contestants who took part on Saturday at the finals as well as to all who participated in this inaugural event. We will be returning with an even bigger and more expanded event in 2010 with the inclusion of duos as well as a new wild card entry for the finals.
