Isao Takahata's (Grave of the Fireflies) next film for the acclaimed Studio Ghibli, a studio he co-founded, will be Taketori Monogatari (The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter). See our first report here.

Due next year and Takahata's first film in ten years , it is an an adaptation of the classic 10th century Japanese fairy tale, where a princess from the moon is found inside a bamboo plant.

Madman wishes to clarify the upcoming DVD version of Ghost in the Shell 2.0 will not contain the original version of Ghost in the Shell.

In the current dealer guide the DVD Special Features next to the DVD SKU MMA949 indicates its inclusion, and this is not the case.

The Blu-Ray version as written will indeed contain a High Definition version of the original film, in addition to the enhanced 2.0 version with new special effects and remixed TrueHD soundtrack.

Shakugan no Shana Single volumes are now discontinued and have been made obsolete. A slimpack of the collection is currently being produced and should be back in stock in a couple of weeks.
