Comic strip adventure hero Tintin and Archbishop Desmond Tutu have been honoured by the exiled Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama. "We never thought that this story of friendship would have a resonance more than 40 years later" says Fanny Rodwell from the Herge Foundation.

The book Tintin in Tibet was published in the same year that the Dalai Lama fled the Himalayan kingdom.

Madman Entertainment are proud to announce acquisition of theatrical and DVD distribution rights for Paul Crowder's 'Once in a Lifetime'.

The feature length documentary depicts the spectacular rise and fall of the New York Cosmos. The Cosmos were quintessential late 70s sports stars ; flamboyant, famous and fabulous - their hedonism as noteworthy as their sporting prowess.

After signing Soccer legend Pele for five million dollars, the Cosmos became the Harlem Globetrotters of their code; media interest, game attendance and membership all skyrocketed accordingly.

Produced by Greene Street Films and Passion Pictures, "Once in a Lifetime: The Extraordinary Story of the New York Cosmos" is being distributed by Miramax in the US and Pathe in the UK.

Madman will take the film to Australian cinema screens in the final quarter of 2006, with a DVD release to swiftly follow. A vintage late 70s soundtrack pumps out the grooves of Junior Walker and Parliament, complimenting this time capsule of decadent late 70's New York.
