Also attached is Toll Ipec’s update as of today also.

We will be commencing movements over the course of Sunday afternoon to allow for the Clean up operations to continue on the damaged roads.

BRISBANE UPDATE:
Our Brisbane depot at Larapinta remains unaffected by flooding however is currently operating with a skeleton staff.

No pickups will be completed in the Brisbane area today however some deliveries will be attempted to the small number of suburbs that remain unaffected by flooding. This will be reviewed daily, with the personal safety of our drivers being a primary concern.

Our Priority Air LineHaul service into Queensland is still available with minor delays into some Regional Queensland locations; however there are delays in deliveries to some regional towns and Brisbane suburbs that remain flood affected.

REGIONAL QUEENSLAND UPDATE:
We are attempting to service ALL Regional Queensland locations as per normal service and customers are advised to continue to dispatch their freight.

Service to Townsville from Melbourne & Sydney is currently being routed via Dubbo, Cunnamulla, Barcaldine, Winton, Hughenden and Charmers Towers.

The water in Rockhampton is receding with authorities expecting the Bruce Highway at Yeppen Crossing to be opened on Saturday (15/1/2011). Access north through Mackay, Townsville and Cairns is still available. Far western freight is being delivered into Longreach, Winton, Barcaldine and Blackall. Emerald freight is being stored in Brisbane currently due to inland road closures. Gladstone is not accessible due to the highway being closed at Gympie.

Toowoomba is open today for deliveries as are local areas of Millmerran and Highfields. All other areas including Warwick, Dalby, Chinchilla, Roma, Charleville and Goondiwindi are still isolated and currently cannot be serviced.

The safety of our staff is paramount, however we will continue to do whatever we can to provide service to you and your customers.

Your understanding and patience is acknowledged and appreciated and we will continue to provide updates via our website as the situation changes.
