Madman Cinema will release "THE THREE BURIALS Of Melquiades Estrada" in cinemas nationally in 2006.

THREE BURIALS marks the directorial debut of Tommy Lee Jones and features a screenplay by Guillermo Arriaga ("Amores Perros", "21 Grams"). Jones also stars, alongside Barry Pepper.

A running contender for the Golden Palm at Cannes this year, THREE BURIALS scooped 2 awards: Tommy Lee Jones for Best Actor and Guillermo Arriaga for Best Screenplay.

THREE BURIALS is expected to be a strong Oscar contender in 2006.
