Nausicaa.net is reporting that Toshio Suzuki has announced that Studio Ghibli's next movie will be directed by Hayao Miyazaki's son, Goro Miyazaki.

Details regarding the movie will be announced by Toho on December 13. Goro Miyazaki has, up until recently served as the director of the Studio Ghibli Museum in Mitaka.

Hayao Miyazaki is reported by Suzuki to be "fiercely against the idea."
